At first he's content to admire her from afar. When she starts to realize she's being watched, he reveals himself, and isn't at all deterred by the fact that she turns him down. The more possessive he gets, the more frightened she becomes, until at last she takes a restraining order. Chastised, he backs off. (...Sort of.)
