Notes: for the waywardmixes challenge #12 (Family). R.O.D. THE TV is a continuation of universe set in the OVA “Read or Die”. It’s one of my favorite anime series largely because how it presents sisterhood. Anita, Maggie and Michelle (the Paper Sisters) are self-adopted siblings who are brought together by what appears to be chance and double as bodyguards. If you haven’t seen the series, I recommend you give it a try if you can find it on DVD or Blu-Ray.
