Medium: Television
Fandom: The Colbert Report
Subject: "Stephen"/Charlene
Title: This Wasn't Supposed To Be Creepy, I Swear
Warnings: Stalking.
"Sometimes the most beautiful, intimate connections only occur after a good, long stalking. I think it's easy for humans, especially women, to forget that."
—I Am America (And So Can You!)
An expansion of Stephen's single about Charlene into a full-length album.
At first he's content to admire her from afar. When she starts to realize she's being watched, he reveals himself, and isn't at all deterred by the fact that she turns him down. The more possessive he gets, the more frightened she becomes, until at last she takes a restraining order. Chastised, he backs off. (...Sort of.)

( If I was invisible, then I could just watch you in your room )
